株式会社グランビスタ ホテル＆リゾート（本社：東京都千代田区、代表取締役社長：須田貞則）の基幹施設である鴨川シーワールド（千葉県鴨川市、館長：勝俣浩）では、2023年の1月10日(火)～2月28日(火)の期間中、日本国以外のパスポート提示で、入館料金が半額となる「ウェルカムビジターキャンペーン」を開催します。

Kamogawa Sea World (Kamogawa-shi, Chiba; Director of Zoological Operations: Hiroshi Katsumata), a central facility of GRANVISTA Hotels & Resorts Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Sadanori Suda), will hold a “Welcome Visitors Campaign” to offer admissions at half price for visitors with non-Japanese passports from January 10 through February 28, 2023.

 

鴨川シーワールドは、海の王者シャチをはじめ、ベルーガ、イルカ、アシカの4種類の動物パフォーマンスと、自然環境を再現した生物展示を通じ、800種11,000点の川や海の生き物に出会える日本を代表する水族館です。

Kamogawa Sea World is one of Japan’s most notable aquariums, housing 11,000 sea creatures from 800 species in exhibits similar to that of their natural environments. It also offers four types of live performances by killer whales, the ruler of the ocean, as well as belugas, dolphins, and sea lions.

Of these, especially popular among visitors is the surprising and impressing Killer Whale Performance, in which orcas measuring 5 meters and weighing over 2 tons perform with trainers in the water. Other notable attractions among the many exhibits unique to Kamogawa Sea World include the Japanese spider crab, which is endemic to Japan and known as the world’s largest crab, Commemorative Photos with a Smiling Sea Lion, which is sure to make everyone smile, and Restaurant Ocean, where you can enjoy meals while watching orcas swimming in the water. Accessible from Tokyo Station via JR or express bus in roughly 2 hours, Kamogawa Sea World is a popular day-trip tourist spot from the Tokyo metropolitan area, attracting visitors from both Japan and abroad.
