Kamogawa Sea World (Head Office: Kamogawa City, Chiba; Director: Hiroshi Katsumata), a key property of Granvista Hotels & Resorts Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Sadanori Suda), will be conducting a Welcome Visitor Campaign from Saturday, February 1 to Saturday, February 29, 2020, during which visitors presenting a non-Japanese passport will receive a 50% discount on admission fees.
A similar campaign was conducted last year, which was well received by numerous visitors, so it was decided to conduct it again this year.
The concept behind Kamogawa Sea World, one of Japan’s leading aquariums, is “encountering the ocean world.” In addition to performances by killer whales, frequently called “the king of the sea,” as well as belugas, dolphins, and sea lions, visitors can encounter 11,000 river and marine creatures representing 800 species through exhibits that recreate their natural environments.
In addition to exhibits, Kamogawa Sea World has several unique attractions that can only be experienced here, including a killer whale performance—which are internationally quite rare—and lunch at the only restaurant in Japan that lets visitors view killer whales while dining. With an accessible location around two hours from Tokyo Station by express bus or JR train, Kamogawa Sea World is visited by many tourists, both from Japan and overseas, and can be enjoyed as an easy day trip from the Tokyo metropolitan area.
Come to Kamogawa Sea World, located right on the majestic Pacific Ocean, and enjoy learning about the importance of sea life and experiencing the wonder of interacting with it. We hope tourists from overseas will take this opportunity to visit us at half price.
