Two hours from Tokyo! One of Japan’s leading aquariums right on the magnificent Pacific Ocean
—Visitors presenting a non-Japanese passport receive a 50% discount on their admission fees during February!—
Campaign period: Friday, February 1 - Thursday February 28, 2019
The concept behind Kamogawa Sea World, one of Japan’s leading aquariums, is “encountering the ocean world.” Located right on the majestic Pacific Ocean, the facility lets visitors enjoy learning about sea life while experiencing its importance and the wonder of interacting with it. In addition to performances by killer whales, frequently called “the king of the sea,” belugas, dolphins and sea lions, visitors can come into contact with 11,000 river and marine creatures representing 800 species through exhibits recreating their natural environments.
Kamogawa Sea World is a tourist spot that can be enjoyed as a day trip from the Tokyo metropolitan area: only two hours from Tokyo Station by express bus or JR train. We hope tourists from overseas will take this chance to visit at half price and enjoy the many unique attractions that can only be experienced at Kamogawa Sea World, including an internationally uncommon killer whale performance and the lunch at the only restaurant in Japan that lets visitors view killer whales while dining.
