This is a fun hands-on educational facility for learning about diverse coral reef ecology using the latest 3D/CG technologies.
Fish drawn by visitors swim freely in the Coral Sea, which is projected on a large screen, becoming part of the ecosystem. This educational facility employing the latest technology is the first of its kind used in aquariums or zoos in Japan, attracting visitors of all ages and allowing them to observe the world of coral reefs. Visitors can learn about biological diversity and differences in the shapes, colors and patterns of different fish species (habitat and behavioral characteristics of each species) while playing games.
